augMENTAL
HOPE YOU'RE READY, CUZ IT'S BOUTTA GET augMENTAL!
Make your way to the exit, dodging obstacles and solving puzzles while meeting awesome animal friends and bumping your head to some funky tunes in this WarioLand inspired puzzle platformer!
How is this related to the "built to scale " theme at all, you might ask?
Well, you see, this ain't no regular puzzle platformer. Your weapon is no other than a magnifying glass. With it you can scale up objects to use as platforms, make narrow spaces bigger so you can fit through, make yourself smaller, or even make yourself bigger! The possibilities are endless.
Controls: (Important!)
WASD - Move
Spacebar - Jump
Shift - Run
Moving Mouse - Moving Magnifying Glass
E - Interact
Tab - Switch glasses
1-7 - Select glass
R - Restart
This jam build holds a small tutorial level and a full stage showcasing all of the gems this magnifying glass has! (they're basically 7 different powerups), These are:
The RED gem, AKA the "make-a-big " gem: zooms in on wherever you point it at!
The ORANGE gem: no one knows what it does. Don't ask about the orange gem. Seriously.
The "YELLOWstatic " gem: doesn't zoom in but can be used as a platform by itself! (Yes, you can basically fly using this it's kinda broken...)
The "GREEN zoomer " gem: allows you to adjust the lens to zoom in or out more!
The "BLUE clue " gem: reveals a hidden second level underneath!
The "PURPLE playah " gem: scale yourself up or down and see what effect it has!
The "PINK death " diamond: reveals hidden ghost tiles! (works kinda weird in this build, apollogies)

This is a lot of fun! There are some bugs, pretty fun bugs honestly! I really enjoyed using the different magnifying effects. Well done, so many different mechanics I'm impressed you had time to implement all of them! I like the music sound effects and the art. Great work!
